Phew! It has been a hectic couple of weeks. As most of you know, I just moved back to California from Miami on Monday and boy has the time flown by! I start my new job next week and I just cannot wait to get started!

This post is the "moving edition" of my top five moments as moving has been the most fun, exciting and stressful part of my life this past week! So without further ado:

Technically this should have been in last weeks "High Five" but...I did not have time last week...so I am including it today. On Friday my wonderful co-workers and friends threw me a surprise going away brunch at work. It was such a bittersweet day, but I am so thankful to have such amazing people in my life.

Moving is stressful. You end up putting a lot of faith into the people who are helping you move all your things across the country. I decided to ship my car rather then drive. On Saturday late in the afternoon, the car shipping company came and picked up Henry (my little car). He arrived in California not only on time, but also in great shape! :)


On Monday, my flight left at 8:45AM and I was on my way to California. This was a very bittersweet moment because I had to say goodbye to my mom and family! But I was also very excited since I was officially starting my new adventure and would be meeting up with my Dad when I arrived.


I loved getting to spend a few days with my Dad at his ranch in central California. I love seeing all the horses and especially the two new babies who were born this spring! One of their horses was very curious about my camera haha...


Yesterday I got all moved into my temporary rental and work up this morning to this beautiful view! I have a feeling I could get use to this...

I can officially announce that I will be moving back to California in two and a half weeks for a new job! This move is a huge step for me and my career and I am very excited for this new adventure :)

I do want to say though, how sorry I am to have of put Sunflour Cottage Creations on the back burner these past couple of weeks. But due to this new (and quick!) transition, life has been a little crazy. I hope that you will all stick with me during this move and I will try to post as often as I can while getting settled. I am very much looking forward to sharing my moving tips and experiences with you on the blog, along with new places and foods!
